STLBlues
Any suggestions on the best way to clean out dust from the bridge? I use a q-tip but it doesn't always clear out all of the dust. I was thinking of using a high powered shop vac but I don't know if that would do any good. Thanks
AXE®
A vacuum head with soft bristles.
NeoConMan
Or a trip through the dishwasher. Okay, not really. Try the Axe method first.

AXE®
If you use a vacuum strong enough to suck the bridge off of a stringed guitar?!?!?:) Well you get the idea. I use compressed air cans too for the most part. For the right now fix the vacuum will be okay. Keep a soft bristle brush, I use badger hair to break up the heavier dust in the nooks and cranny's. lpsgguy
Canned air also works well to get rid of dust in the pickup selector switch. It's always good to have on hand.
