The Perfect "Sit Down" Guitar.

Do you realize how perfect the SG is for "sitting" and playing?

I just realized this, and I'm ashamed it took me so long.

I have a 339, my daughters Les Paul, a Tele, and an old Melody Maker in front of me, but if I'm gonna sit on a bar stool, and jam a little, the SG just fits perfect.......

[biggrin]

Think.......

For a very long time in my life I had only a Tele with body contour (handles just like a strat) and that was it.

The first time I played with a SG I found it extremely awkward. And it was even worse when standing, because the neck was heavier than the body it was a faded Epi SG.

Today my Historic SG is my main guitar. It feels and plays and sounds like heaven.

I Agree with that. I just got my first SG Robot a couple of months ago and it works well when standing or sitting to record. Very comfortable.
