RichCI
I don't normally associate Strats with Metallica but, I have to hand it to you - the tone you got for that song added a whole nother dimension to it. Very cool!

RichCI
Thanks! Thru a Marshall MG30FX cause I don't have my halfstack ready yet. Some guys dump on those solid state MG amps but I bought the MG15 for my buddy's kids for Christmas last year and, of course, I had to try it out. If you like metal tones and clean tones, they sound excellent, IMO. They don't do moderately overdriven tones very well but are great from one extreme to the other. Riverside
Sounds good. Not really a Strat type song' date=' but it works.[/quote'] Would somebody put in a call to Jeff Beck and ask what a Strat sounds like, please? Mr. Clapton? Mr. Winwood? Never mind. Make it sound however you want it sound. I liked it.
FirstMeasure
Hey, that's a Deluxe Players Strat in transparent Crimson. I have the same model in Transparent Sapphire Blue. It has that button that lets you engage the Bridge PU with any combo on the selector switch.
Wally Walrus
It sounds out of tune and that tone is not very nice for that song. But I'm quite sure it's an awesome guitar.
