DeVeeWee
What day is Affligem? Wow' date=' I'm surprised to see so many 'connaisseurs'! Affligem is definitely one of our greatests abbaye beers! Top one! I was going to say, I'll drink the Affligem(triple) on Sunday ...for dinner...but that would be over the top! Sunday will be 'recovery time'... DeVeeWee
Quite right, evol! It's not as heavy as the abbaye beers, but 8.5% alcohol, so no beer to drink away your thirst...

Californiaman
I usually drink Firestone Walker beers. They're all good, gold medal winning beers. This weekend I'm drinking Sierra Nevada Big Foot Ale. Note the alcohol content on the left side of the label. OMG!
grampa
This weekend I'm drinking Sierra Nevada Big Foot Ale. Note the alcohol content on the left side of the label. OMG! I see they have moderated the alcohol. A few years ago I bought some of that to honor a Bigfoot researcher I know and the alcohol was 10.2%. This may be drinkable at 9.6.
