Tim Plains
I think he's asking way too much money for that. A guy at work has a V2 and says they're worth $1,000 - $1,200.
Big Bill
I agree he is asking way too much. But I have to admit that it is a sweet looking guitar. To be honest, I don't care to much for Flying Vs, but this model catches my eye.
EVOL!
Damn, that is one monster axe. I do love the extra ornamentation. When did Gibson make these and how does walnut sound? Dark and warm like mahogany?

xdistancex
the singer of one of the bands i manage, just offered me one of those that he picked up after someone bastardized it with humbuckers, for 600 last week.
daveinspain
I don't like that look at all... Looks like a unicorn's V... Too barbie Doll looking. I prefer a normal V with Humbuckers....
Mark
I find it funny that he is looking for a BC Rich. I think I have seen BC Rich's that look just like that.

ScottGrove
I love the V/2 I gave $3,300.00 for mine. It's pretty much mint and 100% original of course. Great Bill Lawrence pickups (stock). You have to own one to appreciate it instead of just looking at it and judging it. Here are a few things on mine for you to enjoy or make fun of, whatever floats your boat. icantbuyafender
Id like to see a worn finished version in the future. with the V pups. Humbucker may be okay i guess.
wineredrich
One of my all time favorite non-Les Paul Gibsons. LOVE the contoured body. Like the "idea" of the V shaped pick ups but makes changing them out a bit difficult, no? Alas, I don't think they ever made a 'lefty' version that I could play :(
damian
Damn, that is one monster axe. I do love the extra ornamentation. When did Gibson make these and how does walnut sound? Dark and warm like mahogany? Walnut is a great guitar wood......Stronger than mahogany, slightly brighter..............
