Im looking after my sisters two dogs while they are away.

Ive said this here before, but ill refresh and promise to be brief....

They have a huge garage...around 1600 sq/feet.

I have been able to max out my Orange....oh yes, I dimed her.

Just me, my Gibson and me' Orange.

Theres nothing like it in the world. Pure tube bliss thats solid, thick and shook my bowels.

It reminded me of the reason I love electric guitars.

Felt good.....thats all.

There's no better feeling then turning them up. I do it all the time. I live alone

and take full advantage of it. Put the dogs in the garage (don't want to hurt

there ears) and wail. The amps just don't sound good unless your pushing them

hard. Have fun.

Great therapy' date=' eh?

I've done that a few times with my Marshall 800 - full stack makes a big difference too.

[biggrin

I have the 50w head and the 4x12 cabinet. It was a chore getting it there but I had some help.

I figure I can leave it there for a week so why not take advantage of the situation.

I also was using my wireless, so I got to be at the other end of the garage....a sweet spot to be!

....my band hires a rehearsal room every month - it is £50 ($75) for 10.00 am to Midnight - between 4 of us, that is not too bad. I can run my stereo rig ('59 Bassman and Marshal 6100 30th Anniversary 100w half stack) flat out all day..... Seriously, I now wear ear-plugs to stave off permenant hearing loss.

Like the guys said earlier - the more you turn 'em up, the better they sound.

Sounds like a VERY cool rig!

I partnered my Marshall 800 with my Fender Hot Rod DeVille (I know, not a Bassman...) and liked it alot.

With a bit of reverb, the Fender was surprisingly present in the mix.
