"Emily the strange?".....(just kidding) always thought that was one ugly guitar

I was curious so I went to google images and typed in custom guitar finish. Should be able to pick up a few ideas there.

"painted guitar" also rendered many results.

Good luck with the "artist block". I am sure it is only a matter of time before you "break on through".

There's an online thing to look up..

how to paint your own guitar..

dvd with instructions.. has many example explained.. like van halens.. or the zakk wylde.. and more.

you also get online help and many more styles to choose from.

check it out via the web and see what I'm talking about!

Do something exotic, like Zebra stripes or Cheetah spots. Enthusiast of a certain brand name or logo? Paint it on! Painting your own guitar should be an expression of yourself and your feelings. Put a little bit of you into your paint job and you'll love it.

Ah...just strip off all the finish, put a clear sealer coat on it, and you've got a "Lennon" LP Junior!

(And no, I don't mean his Reddish "Madison Square Garden" version...just a stripped natural, like his Casino.)

Probably sound better, with no finish, too. ;>)

You could even put gold Grover's on it, too.
