I had to check it for shipping damage. Right? The box was a bit beat up. But Its a wonderful Guitar very well made. I plugged it in for a bit, sounded great. I have to say though, she buys you a guitar, lets you inspect, play it, and then you have to give it to her to wrap it up and sit for almost 30 days? My usual giging has taken a back seat to strollers and carseats. So im using this time to pony up on some advanced lessons I go once a week and the wife takes vocal lessons the next night. anyway she's a keeper. Play the game, appreciate the great wife that you have, and anticipate Christmas morning. All your guitar playing friends will drool and wish their wife was as thoughful as yours, Eletist Guy. I put a set of p-94s Humbucker sized p90's in my dot. Not quite the pure p90 sound but its cool, ive learned to love the sound LOVE THOSE DOTS.
