SkEpTiKaL
Lately, I've found the Honey Burst LP Plus Top to be quite appealing. I'd love to see the Epi burst in person, but I don't know anyone who has one. So how about we have a Honey Burst appreciation thread? Post any pics you have of your own or other people's HB's! generation zero
My plain top honeyburst is pretty sexy too... I need to take some decent outside pics of it, every pic I have from inside the house, the lighting makes it look greenish, and yucky.
Ricochet
I have a dark honeyburst. I call it BBQ-burst, or roasted honey-burst...

What's the official color name, I've never seen one that color...[/quote'] Thanks Mr.G. Yes it's a 2004 Unsung Epi. Not sure what the official colour is. The pic makes it a bit darker than it really is, but it's still no regular honeyburst-colour. Like it has an extra layer of red. It's been my "go-to" guitar ever since I changed the pickups to S.Duncans and gave it a nutjob. I've seen a couple like it, but not many. It's not an LE. This is a poor pic but a better representation of the real colour.

mgrmatt
Hey CB that's a gorgeous Gibby LP. Your are right it almost looks like a Vintage Sunburst or Tobacco Burst in the first photo. Matt

Matt Thanks, Matt... It's really wild, how it changes color and density, as you move around it. It's lit and exposed the same, in all the photos. Must be the Nitro finish, and the way it reflects light from the figuring of the top. I can see it, with the "naked eye," too...so, it's not just a "photo" oddity.
