Fringe Lunatic
Another "but why?" here. I honestly don't think shoddy workmanship is the reason those stickers fall off. I think they were never meant to stay put in the first place, like the other stickers that are on the guitar, like the film over the pickups, and the "inspected.." sticker. Think about it - we get myriad products with stickers all the heck over them, and the first thing we do is remove the ugly suckers. But for reasons unknown, for some people, guitars are different. Marcus20VT
I'll go against the grain here; Enoch you can buy now "E" logo stickers, have a look at any guitar accessories website or on ebay. Definately think we should keep the "E" stickers on
BillyGibson
Post a picture, so we can see what's happening. Seriously, mine started lifting up too. So I put a drop of super-glue under it, and pushed it back down. Now it's on forever. The E's are meant to stay on too. While they're not the foil type from the 60's, they add some vibe to it. Some guys like them, some don't.
Whitmore Willy
Leave it off or +1 on the glue. (your choice) Otherwise, I know a of couple of people that claim they can fix anything and only need one tool to do it! (personally, I don't trust either of them) Willy
The_Buffalo
I like them, & keep them on. I own several Epiphones, and only 2 have come off - one I glued back on, and one I haven't yet. [/img]

Aster1
I found the best glue to hold the "E" on is an automotive trim contact adhesive. Over the years it seems a glue or rather an adhesive that has some flexible properties somewhat holds the best for me. This goes for many types of reapplication projects. The Super Glues really work great on some items like porcelain, leather & rubber & fingers/skin . I use contact adhesives on many of the others unless you want to drill, route or form. Then epoxy (clear or JB Weld about the best) until you get commercial big buck stuff. We use that with some of our project work but they aren't sold on the open market for the most part. I love the E, glue it back on. Aster
The_Buffalo
To get back to the original post, I prefer to keep mine on. When they've come loose, I glue them back on. I'm sure Epiphone could make them more permanent, if they wanted to... It's your guitar - if you want it on, leave it on, or glue it if it comes loose. If you want it off, take it off. Dennis G
I love the E, glue it back on. +1. If it was good enough for the Beatles, it's good enough for me. I plan on keeping the E's on both my Epi's.
midiman56
You know ... this topic comes up every couple of months or so. I have two Epi's with the "E" logo sticker on the pickguard. One of them is well over two years old and gets a lot of playing time. Neither of them is showing the least sign of falling off. Just how much do you guys DROOL on your axes? enoch
this is what i'm dealing with, the middle of the E is the only sticky part. :| and yea, i'm definitely keep the E, if the E does come off, i'll see if i could buy the E sticker from a guitar shop or something. thanks for all you're advices
BillyGibson
Just go easy on the glue. A little goes a long way. Have you checked ebay prices on those stickers? They want like $18. Otherwise, the only other way I know to get one is to hang out at GC for an afternoon. After they put a few Epi's up on the wall; wait for them to fall off on the floor. You could try jumping up and down in front of them too, that might speed the process up.
