bonzoboy Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 I bought my Big Muff Pi in '69-'70 and it's still going strong.I don't know how the new ones sound but the old ones gave you an almost violin like sustain and tone when set up right and my can nail the Jimi tone spot on,even though he used a Fuzz Face but then again that was modded by Roger Meyer so no one really knows what mods were made to it except for Roger and maybe Gerry Stickles and Eric Barrett-his road and equipment managers respectively.
