Previous owner swapped out the PU's with 57 Classics, so it looks slightly different from here(his pic). Thanks My first Plus Top Minor crack near the nut may need to be addressed. For now I'll keep it strung with 7's like it is set up for and sacrifice a little gain. bonzoboy Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Congrats on getting such a beauty at such a bargain price.I bet that once you get used to the 7s you'll love them as they make the most radical bends a piece of cake.I use 8s and don't have any noticable tone loss.Billy Gibbons and Tony Iommi swear by 7s and they have monster tone.
