S t e v e Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 our two cats hide under the bed when i change mine
sellen Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I know all about that, my cat she loves guitar strings. A rude little cat
bonzoboy Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I lay my guitars on the kitchen table when changing strings etc. and at least one of our 4 cats will plank him/herself right on the guitar, the same thing happens if I am reading the paper or a book at the table.
BigKahune Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 . My cat is older and likes warm amps. . B)
tazzboy Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I'm very carefully when change my string as I don't want the cats to try to eat them and get sick and have to have surgery
FirstMeasure Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Yeah, my Kitty makes it hard to change strings. She'll pull them right out the back before I can get it on the tuning peg.
Tman5293 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Why cats? They make for some pretty worthless pets..........................
sellen Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Why cats? They make for some pretty worthless pets.......................... Cool to have around, and not much work. A very independent animal
Tman5293 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Cool to have around, and not much work. A very independent animal Except they lay around all day and do nothing and could care less whether or not they have any human interaction. FAIL pet.
sellen Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Except they lay around all day and do nothing and could care less whether or not they have any human interaction. FAIL pet. well my cat are sure happy when i come home , time for food And i do kinda dig that attitude you describe, nothin' looks as relaxing as a cat relaxing.
Jeff-7 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I'm more of a dog person myself but my dad and his wife have a cool furry little calico that is very lovey. I have a couple fuzzy kittens living around here that like to lay on the hood of my work car for some warmth when I get home. I feed them some scraps after dinner most days. Very neat looking cat Twiz.
BigKahune Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Except they lay around all day and do nothing and could care less whether or not they have any human interaction. FAIL pet. I take it you're a big fan of peanut butter and long tongued dogs. .
4Hayden Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 i hate cats I'm with YOU on hateing cats, buy a dog it will solve your cat problem
damian Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I take it you're a big fan of peanut butter and long tongued dogs. . Yup, he ain't a v*r*g*n no more............ ....
damian Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 My cats don't like my Strats......All the other guitars are fine with them....... :-k .....
FirstMeasure Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Except they lay around all day and do nothing and could care less whether or not they have any human interaction. FAIL pet. It's all in how you raise them. Treat them like a dog and they'll hate you. Ignore them and they ignore you. Play with them and they play with you. Treat them like a cat and they'll love you forever. And my cats can't get enough human interaction. Just look at the one playing with Twiz's string, how's that for interaction?
Guest rogerb Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 don't let them know that classical guitars used to use cat-gut strings!
Silenced Fred Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Cats are so cute, Tman5293, are you trying to get me banned again?
Twiz Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 She also does this when I change strings on my SG or Les Pauls. V cases aren't really cat shaped...
Silenced Fred Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 i have a black cat too, and i get to see him when i go home in december. i miss him so much. the first time i changed my strings out here, i put them all in a coil like i normally do for him so he can play with it, and threw it on the floor then realized he wasn't there all great guitar players own cats, its a proven fact. and cats love guitar cases because its so comfy. hell, if i could, i'd jump in my guitar case and lay in it
