BigKahune
. Loved just about everything Griffith did. I fondly recall him bringing the Dillards (aka the Darlings on the show) to his TV show in the 60s - some great stuff there. RIP Andy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecUudG64c-w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFwgzOxs0yM

Tarrr
Favorite Andy Griffith line: Barney, do you know the difference between a geetar and a guitar. No, what's that Andy. About a hundred dollars.
Tman
Favorite Andy Griffith line: Barney, do you know the difference between a geetar and a guitar. No, what's that Andy. About a hundred dollars. That made me smile just like every show he did with Don K. RIP
JohnnyReb
Sure hate to see Andy go. He's been such a big part of everybody's lives. I have a Jack Russell dog who was born the day Don Knotts died, so I named him Barney in memory. Maybe I will have a Andy in the near future. livemusic
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMJGuaNbXJ4 Awesome. Think about the power of one guitar, one voice. Well, two voices. Wow, she's purty.
Jerry K
The 60's show had its share of corn but I always liked the sort of musical role model portrayed by the Andy Taylor character who picked up the guitar and sang with family and friends. His playing was simple, no virtuoso he, very unpretentious and yet it all fit together nicely. Having fun making music at home with a guitar. Pickax
Awesome. Think about the power of one guitar, one voice. Well, two voices. Wow, she's purty. That is Nurse Peggy McMillan played by Joanna Moore. Andy had a few girlfriends during the show and she was my favorite. Joanna Moore married Ryan O'Neal and was the mother to Tatum and Griffin. Her life was pretty sad after she was divorced. This world was a better place when Andy was in it. Fortunately, he left us with a great body of work and he will live on in the hearts of many for generations to come.
