19 February 2017 - 09:17 AMWas looking for a new guitar cord on MF and saw this.
Kind of dig the PT Deluxe but at 3k no way. I would just f-it up and put a number on it like Pete did to make it look like it should. And that is the $800 off price.
13 February 2017 - 04:26 PMI don't buy hard copies of CD's very often now that we are in the digital age. I got The Beatles and Zeppelin remasters a little while back. Just bought all the Steve Wilson Yes Remasters on Blue Ray. The only one I could not find on Blue Ray was Close To The Edge, which is a bummer cause it is my favorite Yes album. I got it on DVD though. I got: The Yes Album, Fragile, Close To The Edge, Topographic Oceans and Relayer. All the Blue Ray versions have alternate albums and bonus tracks and the albums as fully instrumental albums. So far I have listened to Relayer and Fragile as instrumental albums. There are booklets with tons of liner notes and cool pics. I heard he wanted to do Drama, but some of the members who were on that album did not want it done. That means it had to have been Downes or Horn or both. I am suspecting Horn since he now more a producer than musician. Bummer I love that album. I heard Going For The One will not be done due to it not being recorded like the others and I guess he would not be able to get the mixes the way he wanted. Not sure if he is going to do Tormato. That album is a mixed bag of good and terrible IMHO. Gonna listen to Oceans as an instrumental tomorrow. They are pretty cool and were not that expensive for a CD and a Blue Ray combo.

10 January 2017 - 04:40 AMPulled the trigger on a Fender Blues Junior. I wanted a low watt small amp for the living room I can tuck into a corner after I am done out there playing. I have to go pick it up. The roads out here are still bad from the snow. I will post pics in a few days when I go pick it up. I have a small Orange 20 watt I loaned to my son and I am going to let him keep it. I am not fond of it.
07 January 2017 - 11:04 AMI grew up In San Jose, California and if we wanted this white garbage we drove 4 hours to do what people do in that nasty stuff. Some of you may remember I had to work in Boston two years ago in the big storm. I have lived in VA for the past 15 years and this is supposed to be the South. Hey Al Gore what about global warming? All I can say is F the snow. I think as of now we got about 8 inches. Later on in the day I get to watch my Oakland Raider with their 3rd string QB go down in the first round of the AFC Playoffs after the first good year since 2002. Good thing I have bourbon and beer.
