  1. I think Toyah puts mushrooms in Robert's morning Earl Gray. He has always been what the English called eccentric. He can run circles around most guitarists, and do it while looking like a banker.
  2. Yeah - Chinese tuners on Gs. Take that.
  3. I’m seeing him October 8th in Durham, NC. Saw him in ‘18. I saw Clapton with Winwood in ‘09 or ‘10 in Jersey. Every Elvis has his Army.
  4. Are you saying China can do the same sloppy job with the exact same quality of a Gibson, and do it for 25 cents an hour ?
  5. I think there was, but it was right after the arse humpin’.
  6. I think that’s what the show is called. Episode 1, I did not dig. It took me a second to figure out the one guy used to be Dr. Who.
  7. If it’s got to be sacrificed to the guitar gods then so be it.
  8. So the best Gibson has to stamp the Serial Numbers on these DE guitars, which I am sure were not cheap, is an ink stamp like I get on my passport when I go though customs in an airport?
  9. EC is killer. I’ve seen him 3 times.
  10. There will be 200 people who will willingly shell out the cash for it. If they are $9999 x 200 = $1,999,800. JC will get richer and you will have a guitar your to scared to take out of the house.
  11. I used to be in Newport News, VA. I worked in Norfolk a lot.
  12. I heard a new song off Jack’s new album. What’s The Trick? Man it annoyed me. I just don’t get him. Here in SC people would not be putting up with proof of a vax or having their phone bagged up.
  13. Nope, they are to busy counting the cash from the Noel 355 and the Cat Stevens guitars. You think Gibson has a soul or cares about you? They care about Slash, cause Slash makes them money. Their a business. They make stuff people like, but at the end of the day it’s still about selling what they make, even if it is a guitar with a drywall screw in it.
  14. Welcome to the Gibson Garbage. Right over here we have a 8k Tom Murphy Aged LP, and I think that would pair exceptionally well with this $1500 Billy Reid button down shirt. We also have Gibson t-shirts for $60.
  15. Selling is a chore now. I have a guitar (000-18) for sale on Reverb to fund another one I want. Its at a great price with free shipping. I had one guy contact me, and he wanted me to take all kinds of caliper readings at different points on the guitar. I told him I only have one of those credit card size, set up measuring tools, from Stew Mac. Another guy from New Zealand got a hold of me, but didn't look all the way down at the bottom of the page to see I will only ship in the US. I told him I would sell him the guitar if he paid full shipping to NZ. Crickets after that. One guy said he was going to drive to Little River, SC from Atlanta to see the guitar, and of course, he bought a different one, and never showed up. One guy was very particular about how the top of his guitar looked. He wanted more pics to see if the ones posted were just wood anomalies or tricks of the light. Once he got more pics he did not like the natural anomalies in the wood. Um this was made from a once living tree, and no two tops are the same. That is makes them interesting. It even comes with one of those hard TLK cases people like. I like the thermoplastic ones. One, they are lighter, and two, stickers stick better on them. I may try to sell my D-15M too. That will be fun too. So far no one has made me an offer for the guitar. Usually I get at least one or two low ball offers per week, but mostly nothing.
  16. Are you and your boyfriend still fighting?
  17. The last time I saw him live when he did that Minor League Baseball Stadium tour, I couldn't understand what the hell was coming out of his mouth. Mumble mumble outta here mumble mumble mumble joker mumble thief. It was so bad. It is too bad that will be my wife's only memory seeing him.
  18. The live stuff that has been released since his death has been both great and not so great. Some of the recordings are what Frank used to call Guerrilla Recordings with not the best fidelity. Its one thing which is live Frank. He can't go back and remake this stuff. Some of the music will curl your toes up and some was a waste of recording tape. I'm not sure if the Vaultmeitster is doing any editing or if the music is going our warts and all. Slow Train Coming is the last Dylan album I own. Blood On The Tracks is my fav, and I think his best work. Now he is just an old guy who mumbles when he, and I'll use the term very loosely - sings.
  19. Cool take pics and post them when you get it. As far as being lonely. The internet has lots of free porn to pass time. Any chance your into enchilada's with pickle sauce shoved up between a donkey's a-ss until he can't come anymore?
  20. I do not know. I’m listening to Erie. Inca Roads is killer.
  21. Bubba Wallace is the most NASCAR sounding name ever.
