  1. The safety head at the company I worked for when I was a NASA contractor was from India, and I think he had a Ph.d in Math. We called him Dr. V., because we could not pronounce his last name.
  2. See It's not just me. I'll bet the curry you get there as compared to the stuff we get in Indian restaurant in the US will make you cry when you wipe.
  3. That headstock on that D12-28 is bigger than her. She loves harmonics. That was damn cool. Did any one start singing Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah? I hate that Beatles song but she did a good job on it.
  4. My wife was born in Georgia at an Army Hospital (at what ever they named that base - Fort___________________?), so she is American. And as Mick sang on Some Girls. American girls what everything in the world you can possibly imagine. She is Irish. Her dad was, and her brother is a good drinker.
  5. She must have found out about the10 seconds you spent with Olivia.
  6. I know who Bela is. Just not into the banjo.
  7. There had to be cows cause in India they are considered Gods.
  8. I would not go to India if you paid my way, put me up in a hotel, and paid for my food.
  9. When your 80 and you poop in a diaper like when you were a month old.
  10. He certainly can play it, and it maybe according to some in the know as the best sounding banjo ever, but it still has that unmistakable that can only be a banjo sound that does nothing for me. Like Martins for most of you guys. They just sound, and all I can say is plinky (if that is a real word) and tinny.
  11. The stingrays? Probably swam away if the top of the tank was easy to escape from, once the water got high enough. My question is how do you know if a banjo really sounds good? They all sound . . . well banjo-y. I think if I remember correctly from a the music history course I took in college, the banjo was first made in West Africa.
  12. Um it’s a Gibson, and you will get the gig bag and like it.
  13. Just because we have a written and spoken language and have invented and created all these modern toys we have, but just like my dog we are just animals too, with biological urges.
  14. I saw Steve when he was with Hackett in GTR and twice with Asia. I saw Yes five times, but it was in the Trevor Rabin years.
  15. Many guys are. I like women, especially when they are naked, just sayin'.
  16. I though it was on Max Yasgur's Farm, but yes it was in the city of Bethel. Remember stay away from the brown acid.
  17. That is the guy who stated it all. The link I posted is actually up on MoFi's site. I was gonna buy a DAT player/recorder when I was stationed in Japan. Glad I didn't as it didn't take off. I saw the DSO with my cousin when I visited him when it was early on in my Navy life. They did The Slavonic Dances by Dvorak and one other piece I can't remember. https://mofi.com/blogs/news/mofi-president-jim-davis-addresses-the-digital-lp-mastering-controversy M J - Thriller on the site is says: Source: 1/2" / 30 IPS analog master to DSD 256 to analog console to lathe https://mofi.com/collections/ultradisc-one-step/products/michael-jackson-thriller-ultradisc-one-step-33rpm V H - Woman And Children First says: MASTERED FROM THE ORIGINAL MASTER TAPES AND PRESSED ON MOFI SUPERVINYL FOR A DEFINITIVE LISTENING EXPERIENCE https://mofi.com/collections/ultradisc-one-step/products/van-halen-women-and-children-first-ultradisc-one-step
  18. Here is one on the Verb for 5K. https://reverb.com/item/48192839-gibson-zoot-suit-sg-2009
  19. Woodstock 1st appeared in the Peanuts strip in 1967 but was not named. Mr. Shultz didn't officially name him Woodstock until after the event happened.
  20. I have a few (I will call them Orchestral) LP's from back in the 80's, and have a few rock LP's and some of their SACD's. If they are pulling the wool over out eyes, I won't be buying form them again.
  21. I saw Testament in Hawaii. They killed it. It was ‘93 or so.
  22. I am sure even though Yes are competent players, I have no doubt MO took them to school. Yeah, Yes liked to dress like stoned out hippies, and Wakeman loved his capes.
  23. Those make some bit of sense. Eagles/Yes and Yes/Sabbath - not so much. I'll bet Yes made Scuzzy and company look silly.
