G N R never struck a chord with me. In fact I never heard A F D in its entirety until about the early 2000's. I heard Jungle and Sweet Child so damn much on the radio I was so sick of them. A F D is a solid album, after that the stuff they did was meh. The double album/its not a double album/its two separate albums should have been made in to one really good one. The one with Patience, bores me and the album of covers was a disgrace. Slash is a damn good player, but anything post Guns I could not give a rip about. To some he's a guitar god. The fact/myth that he supposedly single handedly saved the Les Paul from extinction with a fake/ghost Les Paul makes me laugh. Yeah Chris Derring and RIP too. I still can't stand Mark's smug face. It was years before I learned he was born in England.

That is a true bummer. A dog isn't just a dog, they are companions and family members.

I had a mid 70's Tele with the two wide pups and 4 knobs. and huge a pickguard. I wonder what that would be worth now. I had mine in '82 or so. Sold it like a fool.

Here it the guitar in question, I changed the tortoise shell guard to a black one, put a rhythm/treble washer and put peace signs on the knobs. At that point it was the most expensive guitar I ever bought and I got it used.

Yeah, but come on Gibson sets the standard forgetting to glue in labels, or incorrect info on the labels, and also forgetting to include COA's, and of those many are genuine Gibson's.

Once I sell a guitar, I think I would not ever want it back. I sold it for a reason. The only ones I would want back now are the ones I could now sell to people for 3x what I got them for. Other than that, I'm usually on the hunt for the next one. I have a few I will keep till I die, and even then if someone wants to plop down a stupid amount of cash, I might sell.

I've played, but never owned a guitar with a Richlite board. They look like ebony and feel smooth. I guess in 50 years time we will know how they stand up comparably to a RW, Maple, or Ebony board.

I traded my BB King for a Martin 000-28. I have no regrets about doing it, as my 000-28 is my fav of the 5 Martins, I currently own, but man if I held on to it, I could price gouge people too.

Yep that was were I found out about the Latin Playboys. I have both of their albums. I love the song Mira. Mira in Spanish means "Look". The premise of the song is they are at Disneyland/World/Universe/Galaxy, what ever its called now, and the one guy keeps saying "Mira Mira Dumbo", as the they must have just seen someone in a Dumbo The Heffalump costume, and they are impressed by that fact.

I saw the one in Italy for 20k. Wow that’s some really professional price gouging. There is a Noel J-150 for 9.7k. That’s about double the original price.

If it’s got a pressed resin and wood pulp board, it’s from the post-raid era, and before JC was seated on the thrown. There have been about over 40 or 50, J-45 variations, maybe more. Some of the old guard say it’s not a J-45 unless it’s hog back n’ sides.

All I’ve heard about Bozeman from the one here who buy them say Bozeman is making the best acoustic Gibson have ever made.

The last time I saw him he was on a Strat for the first song, then keyboards the rest on the night. I think he had a really fancy hat on the whole night. He introduced the band, that was all he said other than mumbling when mumble/singing. All I know is mumble mumble was on drums, mumble mumble on bass, mumble mumble on guitar ect. My wife asked me when he was doing this what he was saying, and I said I think he’s introducing the band.

You ever listen to The Latin Playboys? Its a L L side project. They only put out two albums. The first one is killer.
