  1. Awesome. I lost mine many years ago as well. Sure miss him.
  2. Nice guitar. Not sure about the Richlite, a friend of mine has a Martin with it, but he thinks it's Ebony. I'll probably never correct him.
  3. I prefer 80.20's in 12 as well, but I use the Masterbuilt Gibsons on the J-15m and Elixirs on the J-45.
  4. According to this their economy is in 3rd place. https://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/022415/worlds-top-10-economies.asp I would think Chinese people would be buying a lot, too.
  5. I am a Rosewood guy. I guess now I'm a Walnut guy as well.
  6. Don't hold back, Jinder. Let it out........
  7. Radio Free Phoenix. The last free form radio on the Planet.... http://www.radiofreephoenix.com/
  8. I think mine was just called a "Rosewood", but it was ebony board and bridge.
  9. I'm actually enjoying it.............
  10. I don't know much about the durability of the cutting and gluing, BUT............... I DO know that Walnut is a beautiful American wood and while plentiful here in the U.S.A., it is a great tone-wood. I have a multi-laminated Walnut '79 SG that is a great sounding guitar. I love those J-15's for the value and buyability and bet some of them sound exceptional.
  11. You old Romantic, you.................
  12. A relaxing Sunday afternoon in Wingo Ky with a few old friends.
  13. I've been wanting a reissue ever since I read about them here. Now I want the real thing. ALSO.......
  14. Indeed. I've never had it happen with Elixirs, but I'VE NEVER USED THE D'ADDARIO EJ16'S.......
  15. Carvin is still using ebony. They have always used ebony almost exclusively.
  16. A close friend passed this morning. A drummer.
  17. Sadly, I just posted one. No ripping though.......
  18. I agree. I couldn't even tell you were slightly inebriated. Back when I drank I rarely got SLIGHTLY inebriated. <_<
