  1. Correct.. If it’s passed return/exchange date you can put good money after bad & keep spending on who knows what to maybe get it playable. Or get rid of it. Sell or Trade it for a Guitar in excellent condition… Always great if you can play it first. If not make sure there’s a good Return or Exchange Policy.. Good Luck to the OP.
  2. It is the Coupe version which IMO isn’t a real Casino… You should try the traditional standard sized Casino’s before making a final decision.. A quality version like an Elitist, Elite, IBJL or 50th Anniv. Reissue are excellent quality offshore built, with real USA Gibson P90’s & other USA components including Switchcraft Jacks & Switches… They are great players & probably the most versatile Electric Guitar you can buy… They are available in the Used market..
  3. Have you tried adjusting the Pole Piece screws on each Pickup to balance them out?
  4. Or a Chibson…… Whatever it is it looks rough.
  5. Maybe, but not if it’s written into your Contract that you endorse & play Gibsons.. If you don’t your in breach & your Contract can become null & void or worse…..
  6. It’s just as easy to catch a Cold, Flu, COVID or whatever at your local Grocery Store, Dr’s Office or Hospital as it is playing a Gig…
  7. The only real new upgrade Casino offered by Epiphone at this time is the USA Casino.. They discontinued several reasonable priced Korean & MIC models of Casinos that offered Gibson USA P90’s & other USA upgraded components.. Why I do not know as they were excellent Guitars.. I do agree about exchanging it.. Why start your journey with a new Guitar that has problems? Makes no sense to me.
  8. If it’s new you might want to send it back & exchange it for another…
  9. Some upcoming Unknown Artists or Bands would be cooler! IMO
  10. I’ll have to call a couple Car Audio shops & ask… But, new Vehicles are all going to USB.. My Dealer is looking for After market USB CD Players.. Waiting to hear what he finds.. I’m looking too. The Chevy Dealer told me that there is no market for CD’s anymore because the majority of People listen to Sirius, Stream or have Playlists downloaded on their Phones & play them through the Infotainment Systems in their Vehicles… Most Manufacturers aren’t offering, or about to end offering them on all Vehicles.. Which sucks.. The Album Covers & all the stuff they included were definitely part of the Coolness!
  11. Evidently he’s beyond the Return & Exchange period or wants to keep it. In that case, If the OP has an excellent Set up & the problem persists this would be the next thing I would do…. Have a new quality Bone Nut installed & have it Custom Cut for his Guitar…
  12. Are you going for a 50’s sound since it’s a 56 Les Paul? If so, ask the Guys at Seymour Duncan.. if I recall they’re under wound..
  13. An ITunes download is much like a Record in the sense it’s a Product you buy.. So, they’re today’s Records so to speak… I agree that MP3’s are nowhere near the Audio quality of a Vinyl Record or a CD in WAV format.. But, buying today’s Records (Downloads) from ITunes & their Competitors should be equal in High Fidelity Sound to Vinyl or CD’s… Then you got something worth buying.. Even though it’s invisible.. which kinda sucks! Albums were so Cool! I listen to Sirius when I drive & the Sound has gotten so bad! The Compression is so bad! The pumping is driving me nuts! My new 2021 Silverado doesn’t have a CD Player.. I was told they don’t put CD’s in most new Vehicles anymore. Everybody Streams…… I need to buy a USB CD Player designed for Vehicles! Any recommendations are appreciated.. Thanks, Larsongs
  14. Or the same Fretboard materials, Tuners, Nuts, Pots, Jack’s, Switches or Pickups.. Or Bigsbys if they have one. And, I probably missed a couple things… That said, their are some upgraded MIJ Epiphones & now USA built Epiphones that rival Gibsons… But, they’re also priced like Gibsons..
  15. Why not be a real Record Co? Sign “new” Artists & promote them & their Records.. That’s what a Record Co. used todo.
  16. What’s the point of spending a ton of money signing guys who are already famous, have their own labels or are already signed?
  17. So they signed Slash.. A known Artist who is probably a multi $$$ Millionaire & signed by a label already.. What does that do for us?
  18. It is important to do a thorough Inspection when you buy a new Guitar.. Front, Back, Top to Bottom & inside…. As well as how it plays, sounds & is everything working as it should. Immediately If you find anything that doesn’t seem right you need to make a decision.. Return, Exchange or contact Factory for Warranty Repair… Then immediately follow through…
  19. I have different kinds of Guitars with Single Coils, Humbuckers, DynaSonics & P90’s. I have 3 Casinos & they are my favorite Guitars. I’ve had a Royal Tan USA Casino on Order for about a year. They’re saying August. I hope they’re right. I’ve been a big P90’s fan for some time.. I think they are the best sounding versatile all around Pickup you can have on a Guitar. That Gibson would’ve been very cool but I’m happy that you were able to get the new USA Casino. Congrats on your NGD! Enjoy!
  20. I’d be sending the Guitar back & exchange it for another… Most places have a 45 day Return or Exchange policy… Why waste your time on a defective Guitar? Makes absolutely no sense…
  21. I use Mother’s or Meguires Carnauba Wax. Liquid for full Detail & Spray for Touch ups.. Micro Fiber Towels, Q Tips & a set of soft Hair Brushes (Horse hair I think it is) for nooks & crevices..
  22. I think I’d get a Fret job, have the Neck repair checked & corrected if need be by a quality Luthier. Finally, have the signature professionally removed & touch up the initials by an expert Finisher… Then have it completely Set up by someone who knows what they’re doing… Then sell it or keep it…
  23. Order from a Dealer who offers a good Return/Exchange Program.. Like Sweetwater, MF or the like. They offer a no hassle 45 day Return/Exchange.. If you want a modern Sound go for the MHS II’s. If you want more traditional sound go for the MHS.. The most important thing is to buy what you really want..
  24. Pre-Pandemic there were huge Inventories of New & Used Guitars… So many that it was rumored that Guitars are over.. It’s the end for Guitars.. Nobody plays Guitars anymore. The younger Generation doesn’t play Guitar anymore. Etc. That was a little over a year ago… The Lockdown caused the current lack of inventory.. People had to find things to occupy their time.. They bought up all the Guitars! Turns out it wasn’t the end for Guitars after all. Then the Factories shut down.. People were laid off.. . Materials became non existent.. Supply Chains dwindled to nothing.. Now the World is trying to re-emerge from that.. It’s happening slowly.. Everyone’s holding their breath now to wait & see what’s next?
  25. It’s relative to how polished you want your Performance & Show to be.. if it’s Shorts, T Shirts, Flip Flops, Sitting Down it doesn’t matter. Use whatever you want.. If it’s a first rate Pro Polished Act, no Music Stands, no Charts… Rehearse & know your stuff!
