I have a super Blackhawk.44 mag that would only shoot if you pointed the barrel straight up, I had my friend who had a FFL send it to Ruger and they repaired it for free. So maybe that would work for you Butch.

I’ve had the same problem, broke in the same place. The last one broke a few weeks ago so I used good electric tape on it and holding together so far. I think I’m on the 4th one.

Minnesota is cold,but we’re the coldest of the lower 48. The coldest I’ve experienced here is -55 F, not windchill either. Last winter it hit -59.7 up north of me. Keeps the riff raff outta here.

Smack in the middle of North Dakota! Maybe a 150 miles up there. Had give my friend a ride to work as that piece of crap Dodge Ram he has won’t start in -25 F. Ford to the rescue again.

27 is 44 degrees warmer than here this morning. We’ll be -25 tonight. Keeps the riffraff outta here at least. A bunch of southern people came up to work in the oilfield a few years back and most headed back when winter started.
