OldCowboy
Imagine strumming that guitar on the porch of your pastel green home while you're wearing your pastel pink polyester leisure suit.
MissouriPicker
Scary. A definite sign that we are in " the end of days" period. We have brought this upon ourselves with our endless desire for more and more guitars............Some early rocker must have had a really bad handful of pills to dream that one up. Buc McMaster
I kinda like it. Not loudly colored, well faded.......just different enough. And, in the end, it's what it sounds like that makes it a winner or a loser, not so much what it looks like (heresy, I know). I think this would make a catchy instrument for the small venue, solo troubadour. I like it.

Dave F
Do we need to add one more variant to the growing J45 list?

tpbiii
I think we are showing our bias -- if a original 34 Ford coop is found, there are some who like to restore it and some who would like to hot rod it. Personally I would prefer orange.

the other side
How much for the rug? Good luck. I noticed the guitar shop you bought it from put their sticker on the back of the headstock. I can't believe someone would do that to any high end guitar much less a vintage! If there were a law for that, I would classify that as a felony offense. Buc McMaster
In 1972 I kind of doubt a late 50's Gibson was considered a vintage instrument requiring special handling. Back then it was just another guitar.
the other side
Looked like 2012 on the invoice and 4500.00 in 1972 was a whole bunch of money
