Hofner basses actually suffers more from pot belly angle positioning. You have to connect the strap to the tailpiece so the body doesn't angle down away from you. mihcmac Posted June 13, 2022 Share Posted June 13, 2022 (edited) Very nice looking Bass. I had a Hofner 185 Artist Bass back in the late 70's, like the one below.
