RBSinTo
Another essential automotive feature I didn't know I couldn't live without until this video showed me otherwise. What a completely stupid and problematic idea this is! Undoubtedly expensive to manage and repair if the vehicle is in an accident, and problematic in the event of criminal activities when the original colour of a vehicle is important to police. Rabs
Yeah kinda pointless.. But I thought the technology behind it was quite interesting. As in how they get it do change like that.
fortyearspickn
This is why vehicles have more than doubled in price in the past 20 years. Electronic gee-whiz crap. And, then there's the increase on auto insurance something like this will cause.
RBSinTo
Hey! Maybe Gibson will incorporate this technology, and you'll be able to buy a guitar that changes colours as you play it. They can call it the j-45 Chameleon. Whatcha think? RBSinTo
Sgt. Pepper
One more exciting thing for the d-ouchey owners of Beemers. Want to instantly be come an A Hole? Just buy a BMW. Edited January 22, 2023 by Sgt. Pepper
jdgm
I did. Twice in the 80s. A 2002 touring (maroon) which was the best one, bloody fantastic car, then a white LH drive 1802 touring which was like a magnet to stupid boy racers despite the UK plates. The badges got nicked, of course. The engines were 4-cylinder, superb design. Here they both are Edited January 22, 2023 by jdgm
MissouriPicker
I already have trouble remembering where I parked my car in a crowded parking lot. If I also can’t remember what color it last was, I’ll never get back home.
fortyearspickn
Can't believe people are so depraved as to steel the 'badges' / hood ornaments off cars. I guess their parents don't ask them "where did you get that?" . Had a yellow p/u truck for 5 years and got lazy remembering where I parked, since I could find it anywhere. Sold it and got a new 4 door black Ford Taurus. Now I have to have a 'special' place I park at the grocery store (across from the left entrance and diagonal with the gas station car wash) or I wander around the parking lot while my ice cream melts and eggs hatch. Read somewhere here in the US that Beemer Drivers were voted the least ... 'courteous'. Daughter in Law has one. Another survey/poll I never got asked for my opinion on. OrdinaryNimda
Who will be the first guitar-maker, to make guitars that change from aloha-sunburst to bozeman-blue, from one song to the next? 😁

Sgt. Pepper
As a Martin guy it saddens me to say Martin did at a while back. I actually saw one. I was maple, sounded like a wet t-urd and looks horrendous. https://www.guitargal.com/products/martin-concept-j-guitar Edited January 23, 2023 by Sgt.
