I sold it with the below guitar a few years ago, and I wish I kept that case. The one I had fit dreads and slopes. Boyd Posted February 14, 2023 Share Posted February 14, 2023 I got mine from Elderly Instruments in 2014, took my 2008 J-50 round-trip to Europe in checked luggage most of the way. Another nice thing is that it's much lighter than the original Gibson case, a big plus if you are carrying it around a lot. ratherbwalkn Posted February 15, 2023 Share Posted February 15, 2023 My wife is from Europe, and we travel to and from often, in 2015 I tried the Hiscox pro II case ( I always take one guitar with me ) it has done the job and most of all I feel my guitar(s) are secure. Lymeyboy Posted February 16, 2023 Share Posted February 16, 2023 I've had several guitars with Hiscox cases and they are supplied as standard by several guitar builders in the UK and Ireland - Lowden, Brook, Fylde, and Yamaha also use them. They are tough, and what I like about the aluminium closure system is that it forms a good seal and the catches on the lid don't have any protruding elements that would put holes in your guitar front should the lid fall down at just the wrong time 😱 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
