daveinspain
Concert was great.... Sound was not good though! Gary played amazingly well but way too loud... We were six rows back right in front of his three Marshall half stacks. Hello...! My ears are still ringing... He played at arena volume for a 2500 seat venue. The people loved him and he gave a great show... He started out with this Pain top but quickly switched to a Firebird After a couple tunes with the Bird his tech strapped him up with his signature BFG next up was a really sweet gold top Keeps getting better... This was the nicest flame top I have ever seen... Gary got down and dirty with the Les Pauls but without question had the most fun with his Tele... Was back to basics for the oncore with his trusty plain top And he did it all with no FX...

rocketman
Wow, looks like a great concert. Good score on the seats being so close. As long as your hearing loss isn't permanent I'd say it was worth it being that close...

cat&mouse
Wow that looks like a great time. Those LPs look amazing, and I'd have to agree with you about the flame top. That looks gorgeous! 6th row and 3 half stacks got your ears ringing? Check this out. J. Mascis from Dinosaur Jr. plays with 3 full stacks. I was in the front row probably 4 feet away from the full stacks. I've been told that the sound decibels are higher than a jackhammer when they play. Needless to say I wore earplugs the entire time and only took them out once briefly to say I could experience Dino Jr. without. I'm glad to hear that the show was good though!
