Californiaman
Interesting take on apartheid. 2.5 million aliens living in Johannesburg, South Africa. 2.5 million aliens living in Los Angeles, CA. Hmm???

Thundergod
Did you like it? Most people here didn't. I got comments from people saying they left after 10 minutes of movie, which I find stupid. Ok, after making sure it wasn't your average, everyday holywood movie, I went and watched it. I liked it. ledzep59
It looks like an interesting film. Peter Jackson, right? Besides the Lord of the Rimjobs, he has been a part of a few other good films.
mcmurray
Peter Jackson' date=' right? [/quote'] Nope. It's a low budget flick out of South Africa. I thought it was really well done.

I hear it was either a "completely love it, or want to throw up its that awful" reviews from the people I know, but I don't trust em Premise seems very interesting

Californiaman
I actually enjoyed the movie. Especially the documentary-turned movie-style. It was very thought provoking as well. I give it three thumbsup.

LesBonfire
It's a great movie and it is Peter Jackson...and not low budget just cuz it was based in Africa lol
ShredAstaire
It's a great movie and it is Peter Jackson...and not low budget just cuz it was based in Africa lol Peter Jackson did not direct this movie....Neil Blomkamp did...Peter Jackson "Presented" it....similar to the way Tarantino "Presents" movies he has nothing to do with.... It was low budget for the type of movie it is....they spent $30M and got that result...really impressve considering how much other movies cost (Transformers 2 - $302M). mcmurray
and not low budget just cuz it was based in Africa lol Yes it was lol btw this was Neil Blomkamp's first feature film. I thought it was a fascinating take on apartheid (for those that don't know what the word means, have a read about SA's recent history - thought provoking stuff).
