Just Strum Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Gibson.com was down too. Maybe they had a company meeting to determine a good replacement for the Elitist models and decided to shut things down so the mods could attend too.
JefferySmith Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Epiphone temporarily suspended it to help Bush deal with the economic crisis.
Nelson Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Epiphone temporarily suspended it to help Bush deal with the economic crisis. Yeah, I thought that it might be something like that at first but actually....Dateline-Nashville...Associated Press is reporting that "Walter-The Official Epiphone Squirrel" has died on the job while working the treadmill which powers the entire Epiphone complex..Walt had been hard at work when struck down by an apparent massive heart attack which left his nuts in complete disarray. A replacement squirrel, Foo Uk Yu, was immediately brought in from China. Officials at Epiphone say they don't expect Foo to last as long as Walt but Foo works a lot cheaper than Walt and there's a lot more Foo Uk Yus where he came from. Services are pending. Nelson
