My natural casino has become my go to guitar. I already had the sunburst when I bought this one on a whim for $499 new. I knew this version wasn't in the same class with an elitest but liked how it sounded and played in the store. I got her set up, tightened some loose pieces and threw on some new strings. Now I rarely pick up the sunburst. It is an unexpected pleasure to have.

My Wildkat. My 3 Gibsons were all vying for favorite status when I picked it up, thinking it would be interesting for a few things. Ha! It's a great player, very versatile. I just need to get my spontaneous bridge rattle worked out on it...

No doubt at all :

This guitar does everything; it's light, thin, perfectly balanced, stays in tune, slim 60s neck, great upper fret access, all mahogany, set neck, nice controlled feedback on high gain...it's my clear no.1 gigging guitar. Starting to pick up a few dings etc but that's life.

I bought my Epi Dot not expecting much from it because it was mistakenly clearance-tagged and thought it would be something to keep in the house but I soon discovered, after a little setup work, that it is a very nice looking, great playing, and good sounding guitar for the money, and I have since taken it to several gigs. It's the cheapest electric in my guitarsenal, too.

My sheraton.

I didn't even want an electric at the time. and had never owned an epi or a semi hollow..

Now' date=' I wouldn't part with it.

+1 on the Sheraton II...........I tried several hollow/semihollows trying to re-capture the tone of the

'68 Univox Coiley that I foolishly let get away from me almost 20 yrs. ago

I found an even BETTER tone in my Sherri........something about the maple/maple/maple construction I guess,

and I'm not even THINKING about swapping out the stock p'ups like a lot of folks do..........I was looking for

that warm mellow (also called muddy) tone to add a more vintage vibe to my sound pallet.

My G400, Gibson V-Factor, Tele, and even my old Gibson LP, with 1 pc. body and "The Origional" Humbuckers

all sound great, but they don't actually SING like the Sherri does.

It's definitely my "go to" now, and is the best "tone for the dollar" guitar i've ever bought.

Well there are 3 really....... My Gretsch 3161 with TV Jones Classic Pickups and Schaller locking tuner upgrades is a real sleeper.DSC_6902.jpg

Then theres my 1980 Norlin Deluxe Les Paul with 70's NOS Lawrence mini hums. It's heavy as hell played to death and probably my favorite Les paul I've owned. I've bought and sold Pauls worth a lot more moneybut I always hang on to this one!Guitars007.jpg That picture makes it look much better than it actually does....heres the back of the neck

And then of course a Strat......this one is all warmoth parts with a black walnut neck and a 1 piece swamp ash body that I bought for a couple hundred bucks in the early 90's. Some clown had painted it blue and I stripped it down to natural put a set of EMG SA's in it (it came with the Kahler too!)and it's been my go to Strat for quite a few years.Guitars016-1.jpglpd2.jpg

My Sheraton 2. I just finished its "overhaul" this past weekend - converted all the hardware to nickel, installed a set of Fralin P-92s and upgraded the electronics to Acme CTS/switchcraft. I did all this not having any idea how the guitar would fit into my "arsenal", if it would even be a regular player or if it was just a fun project.

Granted, I'm honeymooning. New Guitar and all that. But I played it at band practice Saturday night and it kicked so much ***. the tones I got were just incredible. I compared it side by side with my regular player and even our bass player (who is my biggest tonal critic) agreed the Sheraton sounded better.

I used to have an old Yamaha acoustic that I bought off of a friend for 20 bucks. Best 20 I ever spent. It wasn't the best guitar in the world but I had alot of good times I remember with that guitar. I don't have it anymore because some idiot pulled out in front of me while I was driving down the road. I had to swerve to miss him and I still got him. I spun him around like a top and cleaned out the ditch line too. The guitar was in my trcuk and took a very bad hit from the accident. It broke the neck. Since I only had 20 in it, it wasn't worth trying to fix. But I still have the memories.

For me its my 2005 Kramer 1984. Simple guitar really. Awesome one peice maple oil finished neck, alder body, Gibson 84T pup, flush mounted OFR, Schaller tuners and probably the best 500k audio taper pot I have ever used. The swells are absolutly amazing. Also, its made in the good ole USA.

Epiphone Dot Deluxe - Got this from a friend when my Casino was stolen and waiting on an insurance replacement. It took about 3 months for me to get a new casino but about a year before I stopped reaching for this Dot Deluxe and started to break in my casino...

Compared to my casino it was heavy, ugly, flame striped, gold hardware, black pickguard, humbuckers, big neck... everything I hated but after a few weeks of being forced to play with it I couldn't put it down!
