sjl200
If you find your picks slipping try a carpenters tac cloth squeezed between thumb and index works great and its cheap too.
jnastynebr
$3-7 for A pick?! I assumed they meant for a bag of 20 or so. If they want $3-7 for one pick, they can go punch mud.

Mr. Natural
They were freebies. Actually (or is it "Acutal"), I prefer the Fender "extra hvy."
Old Jazzer
Back in the early/mid 60's, I took jazz lessons from Warren Nunes, He had his private stash of tortoise shell (probably legal then). He would use a flame to shape the pick to his desired liking. Up until recently, I have been unable to find a product that resembled the feel and soft tonality. My luthier recommended a pick distributed by AP. It's the closest I have found. Great feel and tone. Each pick has a little contour. Made from Cow hoof. http://www.allparts.com/Cow-Hoof-Guitar-Picks-p/gp-9150-000.htm

milod
given that pretty much I quit using picks xcept for bluegrass and old-timey stuff - and I never used them when I started playing - I still have some Herco (I think that name's right) from the mid 1960s. So you might could say I don't have much problem losin' 'em. m
