Duende
LOL - shameless plug for my band from back in the 80's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PE1DqlnhALc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsV8KpSWlxk ha ha! That was great stuff - you were a very talented band The 80's is my least favourite decade in popular music, but it's saving grace to me was, some of the great metal that came out of it! Shnate McDuanus
ha ha! That was great stuff - you were a very talented band The 80's is my least favourite decade in popular music, but it's saving grace to me was, some of the great metal that came out of it! Matt First of all--yeah! Hallows Eve was a great band! Second, Matt, I've gotta agree with you there--as far as pop music is concerned, the 80s was pretty pathetic. The saving grace, for me, was the harder-edged side of metal that emerged from the 80s. A lot of people tend to remember the 80s for hair metal, etc., but for me, the 80s says Speed metal: and Thrash metal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5HN3otnoL8
Shnate McDuanus
On that note, as I'm sure one can guess... Accept is one of my favorites from the 80s. Grim Reaper was also an awesome band http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpewUGbjpb8 Granted, I occasionally get the urge to listen to some Crue or some Poison, but...hey, call them guilty pleasures. cabba2203
Grim Reaper was also an awesome band LOL - I posted Grim Reaper "See You In Hell" already! Steve Grimmett is a great vocalist for metal. I originally got that song when I was in high school, it was a free vinyl single that came stapled in an issue of Hit Parader magazine. cabba2203
Another DED Engine classic! I got this album when I was still in high school, mailed off for it direct from the band, like many good metal albums had to be purchased back in the day. That or trading cassette tapes of band demos. These guys were great! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TR3bC5kEUHU
