The 80's is my least favourite decade in popular music, but it's saving grace to me was, some of the great metal that came out of it!

First of all--yeah! Hallows Eve was a great band!

 

Second, Matt, I've gotta agree with you there--as far as pop music is concerned, the 80s was pretty pathetic. The saving grace, for me, was the harder-edged side of metal that emerged from the 80s. A lot of people tend to remember the 80s for hair metal, etc., but for me, the 80s says

Grim Reaper was also an awesome band

 

 

LOL - I posted Grim Reaper "See You In Hell" already! Steve Grimmett is a great vocalist for metal.

 

I originally got that song when I was in high school, it was a free vinyl single that came stapled in an issue of Hit Parader magazine.
