Twiz Posted November 15, 2012 Share Posted November 15, 2012 A couple months ago I had this idea to start photographing the guitars of players in bands from Pittsburgh. I've been doing one or two shoots a week. It's going to be a pretty cool documentation of the scene here. To be eligible, there are three requirements: 1) Your band has to call Pittsburgh home. 2) You can only pick one guitar to be photographed. 3) Band must be active (play out at least once a year). It's cool learning what different players do/don't do to their instruments to get them to play how they want. I'm finding that over time, the guitars do evolve these kinda personalities (is that the word?) similar to their owners. It's really been a lot of fun so far. What do porn and guitars have in common? They tend to make our wives mad....The only difference is that they don't slap us and make us sleep on the couch for looking at guitars....
