  1. "young and stupid is no way to go thru life people" eventually the young part goes away,, so what are ya left with then?
  2. how loud is this hum anyway? Some line level noise is normal.
  3. I crack up every time I see this -- classic! Tone-deaf little weasel!
  4. People! Jeezus! mainly why I stay the hell home!! LOL!
  5. I profess to be no expert but I do know my way around an LP I've never seen this either. I'd call customer service and see what they can tell ya about it.
  6. I love these I can't buy one, but I love it!
  7. you know that saying about fools and their money?? maybe? thank fully I'm a marshall guy and the amps I go for, well they aint cheap either. so..
  8. this is from Peppers linke. Of course, a hand-built US tube amp is never going to be a budget buy in 2024, but the prices are well-pitched, coming in at $1,499 for the Falcon 5 and $1,799 for the Falcon 20.
  9. so there really is a dude out there with a moniker of Machine Gun Kelly? while I like that name, his idea of a guitar design? not so much
  10. yea I hear ya. this guy was just crazy about guitar based music, and he made enough money where this wouldn't be mroe than pocket change. he was just going to hang it in his office. I tried to help him find one, but the problem was, you had to order a custom run to get that finish back then.
  11. I was working with a public accessor during our fire recovery he saw all my guitars and started talking about music, and guitarist. Very enthusiastic about it all. He said "my dream guitar is a sea foam green telecaster" so I asked, oh you play too Bob? his answer was "No, I just want a sea foam green telecaster!" ..okay... yea,, pretty much same here. I have a line 6 G30 tho that I use a lot. that's been rock solid, been using one of these for some years now.
  12. Sparky, that was a hoot. People will do the weirdest things if they have enough money to toss around. I have a few friends who are Bourbon "aficionados" they spend SIC money on some of these bottles, and they don't ever plan to open them. Wait,??? What? "Collectors item dude!" -- what is wrong with you? I say, to myself. I think I'd rather buy a 400 dollar cable and at least use it, than a 700 dollar bottle of Bourbon I'll never open. But no, I'm not buying a 400 dollar cable. I have a wireless I paid 50 bucks for, works great. And it has an eloquent bouquet.
  13. Same here, I think twice a year, is more than enough. I apply a drop to paper towel and work it in till it stops hydrating the wood, takes about three drops to do the whole fretboard. Really you don't need much at all.
  14. moderation is the secret to all of life's little mysteries. like Whiskey for example.
  15. I won't be buyin another Gibson amp. The goldtone I had was decent, but couldn't hold a candle to my marshalls there's a decent reason for that Gibson makes Guitars Marshall makes Amps Then of course there's Fender and well, never mind then..
  16. I think you have covered it adequately. Put four guys on the same stage, playing the same gear, playing the same song one after another. Not one of them is going to do it exactly the same, and some won't even come close to what the others have done. and it's mostly going to be the hand that holds the pick, or better yet, if it's not holding one, that "right" hand unless we're talking to lefties. when people say the tone is in the hands, I think 75% that is not the fretboard hand
  17. string swing has you covered https://www.amazon.com/String-Swing-Electric-Acoustic-CC29-BW/dp/B076VSMVJP/ref=sr_1_5?crid=X5R04MZQSJES&keywords=string+swing+guitar+case+rack&qid=1704828993&sprefix=string+swing+guitar+rac%2Caps%2C83&sr=8-5 I have one, it holds 5 acoustic cases. I bet you could get 6 electrics on one.
  18. yes, this one on my list too!! Dejavu Machine Head Dark Side Of the Moon these others I see posted, many are all good choices too
  19. yes sir! a well done cover Sal.
  20. yep reverb and delay, are both activated when engaged with dedicated mix controls.
  21. My son gifted me this. I have about 5 delay's they all have their "cool" factor, This one is no exception. very warm, and lush sounding.
  22. close to it. has a Vibrate and a B7 bigsby, which no doubt has a bit to do with things but it was heavy as hell even before that
  23. A Taylor you say? Well, I'd say you're in good company. I have three. They serve me very well. Word to the wise. The Es2 will work out ok, but if you're hitting open mic or using house gear, you will notice it doesn't have the output that many pickup systems have. I have use a Tonedexter on my pedal board, and with that, it sounds very good. Straight in, it does need a bit more channel gain and volume. you'll want to play around a bit What works for me is Volume at about 2 O'clock, treble cut a bit, set usually at 10 O'clock, bass usually around 1 O'clock the rest, I get from the board or from the tonedexter. Another thing about the ES2 is battery life. It's a bit shorter than compered to my other acoustics with Fishmans.
