I have those strings on a cheap Canadian 000. They sound great and I think they are a bargain.

Murph. I have bought a few new ones for the herd of late. (I know, I know). But one of my best purchases was under $500. this thing. It’s awesome, and made in Canada. 000 size. Cedar top. Cherry laminate back and sides. Cherry neck. I’ve gigged with it once, and will do so with it the rest of the summer.

Taylor has made me a few guards. And I still have the teardrop he made for his J-45 (I bought his guitar), as well as the new batwing he made for the same guitar.

Em, I swap guitars a lot, probably because it’s an escape for me from some other stuff. But it’s amazing that I always love mahogany guitars first off… I love J45s, Birds, D18s old and new… by the way I have a few D18s… a newer one, and a 2003 straight braced one. It has the perfect neck… that older standard series 11/16 Martin neck. I was thinking how that neck would be great on an Adj bird. For me anyways.

There was one for sale on AGF a few months back. I almost bought it … because curiosity. I bet it would gig fine, record even better, and be a great conversation piece.

The second video is all Bird to me, and yes a great video. You get glimpses of that in the first video… 35-50 seconds ….

I have owned the Standard, the TV, the Vintage, the Sheryl Crow Country Western, and a 60s reissue with and adjustable saddle. I think I liked the Crow and the Vintage the best, but all were stellar. the one with the adjustable saddle was a 2018 or 19 model, and while not as loud still had a pleasing Bird tone probably most similar to Hillbilly Stones Bird tone. Think Sweet Virginia. one day when things calm down I may again fly a Bird.

I am happy and enjoy hearing you play it so… It is a guitar meant for a singer and a tune. And that you are.
