  1. If you have plans to have adventures after you retire, don't wait start doing them now. Live every minute of the life you now have. 🙂
  2. When you remember when gas stations gave gifts like a carton of cigarets if you filled up your tank.
  3. I watched the Rings of Power last night. Looks like it could be fun.
  4. I was running a wireless network when I retired and on call 24-7, always had a notebook close by so I could log in to our monitoring system. Every day before I was awake, I would start the coffee then take a peek to see what may have crashed during the night. After a a few years of this routine it was very hard to get my mind to let go for retirement, but what a relief. After a few weeks of R&R getting my thoughts together for a different life style my brain started to heal and there was a whole new world out there.
  5. When you step into an elevator and its playing your favorites.
  6. When Cokes were a nickel. "What do you get when you only got a Nickel and you haven't got a Dime, what do you get?" "Cracker Jacks"
  7. Yes when you are old enough to have an extra several thousand laying around. 🙂
  8. When your guitar has no finish left on the neck.
  9. Yes yes a potting problem..
  10. If you have trouble balancing them you could try installing between a 1K to .5K resistor inline on the neck PU.
  11. I think Daemon Targaryen gave up too easily when his niece the dragon riding princess challenged him for possession of the dragon egg. I enjoyed this episode more than the first which mostly established Matt Smiths characters masculinity.

  13. Not into Windsor knots, I preferred my Navajo made Bolo Tie Levis and Snake Skin Boots. With Island life my feet haven't felt the inside of shoes for a very long time.
  14. I guess you are still enjoying it.
  15. If the pups have 4 wires plus a ground they will work with a push pull pot for coil splitting.
  16. They may need Jenna Coleman to help Matt Smith behave himself.
  17. When you spend too much time staring at this screen trying to think of something stupid to say.
  18. Wow the Trem looks great on your Les Paul. Enjoy... Below I just copied the link from your image and pasted it into the text and do not click on "Display as Link instead"....
  19. My Standard is the same as the 56 Goldtop only in Sparkling Burgundy with 50's style C neck with no weight relief. It is such a precise player and sustains forever, but that is what Standards do.
  20. The Epiphone Nancy Wilson Fanatic is a Nighthawk and comes with a hard case, so basically Epiphone is making a hard case built to fit the Hawk guitars including the Nighthawk and Blueshaswk.. A very nice fit.... *** Oh I found the Epiphone Nancy Wilson Fanatic Hardcase below on Reverb, a perfect fit.... https://reverb.com/item/55266566-epiphone-nancy-wilson-fanatic-molded-hardshell-case-guitar-black ****** Sorry it didn't last long ******
  21. In the US people are accustomed to getting what they want when they want it, all we have to is qualify and sign, once you learn the secret that the banks own the new cars that surround you on the highway. In many other countries you have to have the wealth to buy a car and build your home, getting loans is not an option. If you are lucky enough to have people making bricks close by you can build the first floor, move in and start the second floor. Sometimes going up to five stories, if you have the resources. Also you will usually need to start by building a wall around your compound to protect your family. Ok so just rambling, these are common processes that I have observed in my travels...
  22. Having been in several different countries in Asia and Europe I think a lot can be said about how safe you feel there. When I was in Manipur our group's security escort was carrying an AK47. In Bangkok we freely went where ever we wanted, Germany was like wandering around Disneyland. The people I interacted with were always curious about visiting the US but seemed secure with what they had, specially medical resources, specially Europeans. The cost of living in Asia is only a fraction of what it is every where else. I think Government stability is a big factor in people who desire to relocate to the US, like are they going to come and kill you in the night or simply allow you to starve. A lot depends on exactly where and when you want to compare.
