devin1974
Why can't Epiphone release an ebony casino with a 5 ply or 3 ply black white black pickguard .....grrrrrrr. So simple .....soooooo cool
Lord Summerisle
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEOjuuEh63I Â In this video between 1.09 and 1.15 what is that very cool looking red thing with the hockey-stick headstock and white diagonal stripe, that is hanging on the wall next to where Dr.Epiphone hangs the G-1275 doubleneck? lengle1981
UK - Prices for the new models.......  http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/Epiphone-2014  Union Jack sheraton £680! Jeez, that's more expensive than the 62 reissue!

indiekiduk
That product page said estimated only 1000 made. That's half as many as the 1962 version. So I suppose that is an indicator it could be more expensive but I'm hoping for the same price I paid for my 1962: $719 ~ £450. In the video the guy in the white coat said it'll be available in June so not sure why that product page says 2 available soon.
Supersonic
If there is only a thousand made then they will go really fast. They'll be selling on fleabay for twice as much soon after.

Bender 4 Life
sigh......argueing over guitars that aren't even out yet. Â i'll light another fire... Â I wonder if and how much it would cost to add an attenuator circuit before the signal hits the speaker in the new Century amp.
vomer
Bender, the Century has a master volume, but to answer your question I've got a power reduction system called Power Scaling in my Valve Junior. There are a number of reasons why it's said to be better than a master volume or a speaker attenuator, in the link below. It works very well, maintaining the amp's tone down to really quiet levels. It's an invention by London Power in Ontario, and needs to be fitted by one of their recommended suppliers or a "tech who is very good at mods, not just a good repair tech." They have recommended techs in lots of places. My mod by MJW in the UK cost around £120 a couple of years ago.  Here's a link to London Power's site: http://www.londonpower.com/power-scaling-faq
Victek
I'm digging those Casino Coupes! I wonder if the smaller bodies will lessen the feedback issue Casinos can have. Also, how different are they from Widkats? Â I'm looking forward to laying hands on a Coupe as well. I've noticed that the neck on the Coupe joins the body at the 19th fret unlike the Casino which joins at the 17th fret - access to the higher frets is too limited on the Casino for me, but the Coupe should take care of that. Â Does anyone know what the scale length of the Coupe is? I can't find any specs yet.

Supersonic
It's been what 18 years since Noel debuted the Union Jack at Main Rd, sadly Epiphone are too late with this model. Also no union jack on the sides or back and too dark blue are deal breakers. You'd think if they waited this long they could at least get it perfect? Here is what it should have looked like: Â Â Â Â The blue isn't that light on the real one. Â

The red stripe on this is in the centre of the white strip, that's not what the Union Jack should be like, the red stripe should be slightly off centre on the diagonal cross. Hard to explain in writing but if you check the flag it's not right. That's just me being picky mind.

RobinTheHood
If you look closely, you can see that the red stripes are not centered, but slightly to the outside egdes of the white...which is also incorrect as the red portion should stay behind the wider white portion in a clockwise fashion. If its any consolation, Noel's Sheri is wrong too.

Bliggick
One cool thing I noticed about the Coupe: access to the upper frets. It looks like the neck joins the body at the 19th fret! Also diggin' the looks of the amp.
