CB[/quote'] I thought that was his cherry ES-335, but I could be wrong. My favorite solos are mine.... I especially love everything George Harrison does on Revolver, he used his Cherry SG Standard on that album. I also love the solo on Can't You Hear Me Knockin' off of Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones. Mick Taylor has great tone, and one of the best touches in rock and roll. Shaker
"Crossroads" from "Wheels of Fire" is my favorite SG solo. BTW, my take is that Christie's (maybe Guitar Center) twisted the fact somehow to make that ES335 "Crossroads ES335". Clapton did use that at the Farewell show at RAH. Guitar Center did say that the ES was used for the Wheels of Fire version but my understanding is that thr claim is false. It was most probably Fool's SG. Guitar slinger
Hey Buldog's solo might have been recorded with George's SG. Anyone knows for sure? I can only find speculation - and when it comes to beatles, is always like that.

But there are chances that this solo was played by either Paul, John or George and any of them could be using ANY guitar in the world. I've read a lot about the Beatles having several guitars in the studio later in their career. I've read in the Guitar Player magazine once someone (could have been George Martin) saying that they did have a lot of stuff and even they could not be sure what guitar was used in each part of some songs. It could be Paulie playing the solo with that Casino again though I dare to say it sounds much like George. Sounds more like John than Paul, actually. See? It's easy to speculate =( My opinon? It was George using a humbucking guitar - so it could have been the SG. Could have been Lennon too - with the SG as well.
