Mr. Gibson
Had Coco wheats for supper. Cheap meal. I always add a lot more so it gets chunky instead of runny. Better that way. Also with enough sugar to kill a diabetic.

Digger
We had a beautiful porterhouse steak BBQ'd last night. Bought it back from Mallacoota, the small holiday spot we've just had a week at. We can't get good steak like that locally but can get it from a small butcher in a town of say 400 residents. I usually buy up and bring some home for the freezer. It just melts in your mouth! Â Yummo!

Digger
Roast chook from the supermarket, oven fries and corn on the cob. We had to take Bella to Gael's sisters place for a couple of days so we can head up to Melbourne today to visit our son Chris who had a heart attack earlier this week, and were too tired to do any fancy cooking when we got home. Â I had a Nashi fresh off our tree afterwards, it was the best part...so sweet and juicy.
Retired
How is Chris doing? Hopping he has a speedy recovery and gets out of the hospital soon. Deb. made a turkey casserole today. Very good.

Digger
Food on the road...yuk! Â Not telling what I ate yesterday but today we stopped at a service centre by the freeway to get something to eat. Â Hungry Jacks are our version of Burger King....never again! Â 2 of those in one lifetime would kill ya! Â I need a bloody shower after all the grease dripping off that sucker. Makes KFC look healthy! Retired
Very true! My wife is a great cook. She learned from her Grandmother and her Uncle and he was a cook in the Army. Then he learned more from Chefs he knew when he got out of the service. So today we had a steak and a salad for dinner. A bowl of chili at noon. Mr. Gibson
I'm hungry now so I'm gonna eat a giant bowl of coco puffs and something salty, maybe a bag of microwave popcorn smothered in butter. And a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream. And maybe something else too. Gluttony is my downfall.
