Rev Roy
It's official...for the moment at least I'm all Gibson all the time. Just have two guitars now - the J-45 and this beauty that arrived this morning. Nice twosome. The Songwriter's crisp, strong projection is a nice counterpoint to the J-45's rich, chocolatey tone. Not to mention it has some nice bling.
Avery
Congratulation, Rev I played one of these recently and loved it. (Just took a little getting used to the longer scale.) Love the bling myself too. And while some of the Gibson bursts are beautiful, I like a natural top even more, so this guitar would really do it for me. Enjoy it! kidblast
nice choice! something empirical about the tone and handling aspects of a Gibson acoustic. I thought it was all myth and mystery till I wound up with an SJ200. found out, there's some thing to it..

BigKahune
. Love the bits of bling - a great looking guitar. This long scale dread with sitka and rosewood sounds great; and a nice companion for the sitka and hog short scale slope 45. Congrats and enjoy. . B) .
