deepblue
Good News.... I got my new Charvel San Dimas yesterday. I havent had a chance to spend any quality time with her, but I will tonight. Bad News... I spent 7 1/2 hours in the emergency room last night about 10pm till 5:30am. I dont know if any of you fellas have experienced Gout? It feels like your foot, especially your big toe is on fire. Excruciating pain. Silver lining?...oh yes, im now looking at a bottle with 30 Percocets! RichCI
Ouch. I've never had gout but it seems like everyone I hang out with gets it; my one buddy describes it as being like if somebody hit your foot with a sledgehammer. Congrats on the new guitar! Be thankful you don't play with your feet.

rocketman
Get well soon and congrats on your guitar! You know the routine about posting pictures when you get a chance. I guess this is going to stop you from using your big toe as a pick now...

pippy
Bad News...I dont know if any of you fellas have experienced Gout? Glad to hear about the banjo - Really sad about the rest! But; my advice would be to get a second (and third) opinion. (OK; a fourth opinion too!) I was diagnosed with gout (with the same excruciating pain) but' date=' [i']after a year and a half[/i] of pain, a specialist Doc in France discovered I had simply developed (at my ripe old-age) an allergy to crustacea and oily fish (e.g. Salmon, Trout...) This meant beer and wine were back on the menu!!!! I'm not religious by nature but I'll put up a prayer, for your well being, tonight.
Mark
I use to get a Gout flair up in my left big toe. Then I stopped getting them. But man I don't need to tell you it is the worst pain I have ever had. But congrats on the new axe. at least you don't play guitar with your feet! I don't think By the way I was told that the LEFT big toe is the furtherest joint from your heart and most new cases start there. Be careful and get on some Allpurinal....spelling.... Homz
Take lots of Indocin, Allopurinol, and Percocet. Reduce your intake of high purine foods. Call me in the morning.
