When is Production going to resume?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm aware I can buy many different Casinos. Maybe you guys aren't familiar with the new USA Model that is supposed to be coming out...

I'm concerned because I've been waiting for these new USA Casinos to be Produced since last year!!!

I already have 3 Casinos in my Collection.

A Vintage Sunburst Peerless w/ Bigsby like Paul & George had.  A Natural Finish IBJL Revolution like John had. Also, a Vintage Sunburst 50th Anniv. 1961 RI w/Tremotone like Keith had....   I have no intention of parting with them.

The next one I want is the new Inspired by Gibson USA Casino in Royal Tan...

Today is June 10, 2020. The year is half over. The Country is re-opening for Business. When will Gibson & Epiphone USA resume building Guitars? I'm particularly interested in the USA Casinos...

Thanks

How do you know, they're not working & building? There was at least a month, when there was no production, so there was depletion of most models at guitar dealers. When they resume production (if they haven't done so already), they will ship them to multiple dealers all at once, when a full run (series of models) is completed. That is by design, as to not create disbalances in the supply-side of the equation. I think...

The customer service fellow I spoke with a few days ago said they were back at it.

We no longer use lemon oil for the neck, the preferred method is now a pre moistened Lysol wipe.

Let me know how that works out on this three new guitars you got.

I don't know what Gibson is doing? That's why I asked my question..

With all the Gibson TV YouTubes I haven't seen any pertaining to what's going on at the Factories & whether or not they've resumed Guitar Production.

It seems if you've got a New USA built Casino finally in Production it would warrant some chatter on their Gibson YouTube Shows? Or something?

So far as I know..... Nada..

I've had one on order since last year... I'm curious!

That pricing is rather iconic.

I wonder how they're going to fare with the shut down, it seems like a really bad time to buy a company and try to get it back on its feet.

Except they didn't buy it.  They begrudgingly accepted it in lieu of the money they were owed.  So they weren't happy about getting the company in the first place, I'm pretty sure they are far from overjoyed today.

Hmmm, I would think they had enough revenue coming in from Epiphone to keep them afloat. Unless cutting Epiphones product line in half was a mistake, all thought they have started offering a few low end bolt-ons again..

I wonder if Corvette would survive without the rest of GM.

I think at one point GM had more or less the same W body car coming off the lines with Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, Saturn badges on it?

I think Gibbyphone was wise to cut the Epiphone product line in half. It was starting to look like one of those never-ending restaurant menus, the question being "What flavor of Les Paul would you like? We have dozens to choose from."

My point was, Gibson should be supported and not worry about breaking even while receiving an endowment for the arts from Epiphone.
