I guess there’s just nothing new or interesting being explored with these songs, they sortof don’t go anywhere. Compare to some of Ozzy’s 80s hits like Crazy Train or Bark at the Moon where the guitar is just from another planet and you’re constantly getting barraged with hooks and tasty little nuggets. I can't understand a word he says when he's talking, but can understand him perfectly well when he is singing. It's the opposite with a lot of rock singers.
