Happy New Guitar Table Day

I got tired of using the kitchen counter for working on/restringing/setting-up guitars.
Pretty sure the wife wasn't happy about it either.

So, with just a bit of rearranging things in the music room, and trip to Lowe's to pick up the main item, presto chango, we now have a dedicated guitar work bench. With drawers.

A long overdue addition to the music room.

Needs more stickers.

Great idea! Maybe add a little more light 💡 too!

Yes, you are right.

I do need to come up with a more elegant solution than the standing lamp I'm using right now.

The five lights do adjust via goose-neck stems, so that's a good thing.
I'll think on it, and take a look around.

Just open the blinds and work during the brightest part of the day. Nothing beats natural light.

nice Sparky!!!

I have a dedicated work bench with storage too,  a rolling kitchen cabinet with a fold out top and doors with storage shelfs

Turns out the perfect size for working a guitar.

Best thing ever!

Photos, kidblast.

We can make this the 'here's my guitar workspace' thread even.

🙂

will get some in due time

we had a vicious storm come thru here on Monday

Basement took on some water,

we faired far better than others - some lost their homes

Look up Leominster Mass, Flooding - Sept 11 2023 on any search engine  you'll no doubt get an eye full

Basement is in disarray after water came pouring in from just about anywhere it could find a way in,

10 inches of rain in like 2 hours.  it was nasty

I'm in recovery mode at the moment

Oh man.

Thoughts and prayers to you, good friend.
Hope it all turns out well in the end.
Stay dry.

Thanks Sparky

The damage done by the heavy rains in that short amount of time was nothing short of remarkable - and not in  a good way

We were lucky that was only some water on our basement floor.  Some people really got hammered.

At first I mistook the table as the outside of a flat pack box. It was the stickers that fooled me!

You're a great deal more ordered than me Mr Sparkie.

I have worked on guitars on a foldup workbench in the lounge and on the kitchen table. This Ric is on the dining room table presently.

How is this permitted ?

Cherry & I don't live together. We just visit a lot. It works for us.

Sounds like the perfect relationship.
