Mono gig bags are top notch, one of my buds has one for his Rick 4001, In fact think it will carry two (bass guitars in his situation)

but better brace yourself when you see the price tag tho.

Gator has some ones that look pretty solid too.

Anderton's has quite a few (very sturdy) Mono padded, structured gig bags ranging from 150 to 300 quid.

I've got at least 4 of the damn things plotting against me in the cupboard under the stairs. 

One of them is even black and white checkered like Rick Cheap Trick.

Mostly they are handier than a hard case but.....
