Corrosion of conformity
The Rev, or Jimmy Sullivan, died today. I just heard about it now. He was the drummer for Avenged Sevenfold. He was an amazing drummer, and a huge influence. I don't know what the band will be like without him. He was only 28 years old. R.I.P. Jimmy. You won't be forgotten. Corrosion of conformity
Apparently it was natural causes. I think they're still looking into it. I still can't believe it happened. He was so young...
Lowdown
Well unfortunately, everyone tends to overdo things this time of year...if he had underlying probs, partaking of the festive cheer would not have been his best accomplice.

Silenced Fred
Avenged Sevenfold is a decent band. I can't believe that, there are way too many people dying soon, especially musicians. It really is a shame.

saturn
Here's one of their more popular songs. Give it a chance, it's actually pretty good IMO. Relentless drums and some good shredding at about 2:20.

Thundergod
When I saw the title I thought you were talking about THE REVEREND. EDITED, might have hurt some people's feelings and was the wrong thing to say in a moment like this. R.I.P. Avenged Sevenfold's Drummer.

MatteoLP
Even though I don't listen to this kind of music and bands, it's always a tragedy when the world loses great musicians. R.I.P.
Riffster
The abbreviation of Reverend is Rev? I personally thought the Revolution had died. But seriously, that is a shame, too young to die.

Silenced Fred
Okay, Billy Gibbsons is the Rev, but seriously? I am sad to have such a musician pass, show some respect people Seriously, guys
Riffster
Billy Gibbons has been the Reverend longer than Jimmy has been alive True, but he does a real sh!ty job as a Reverend, I mean he does marry people but you'd think he'd delveloped some laguage skills on that front. I mean marrying people is not rocket science and a lot easier than writing a good song.

SGplayer1994
Man, all of these celebrities have been dropping like flies. I thought the ones in their 50's were a little premature, but 28, that's terrible.
ChanMan
Billy Gibbons has been the Reverend longer than Jimmy has been alive Correct, and had the thread read "The Reverend is dead", I'd have known exactly who they meant, as well. Everybody happy now? Well, everyone but the Avenged Sevenfold fans. Anyone have any thoughts on who might replace him in the band? He's a tough act to follow...
