saturn
I have it on good authority that the mid-east/north-east is going to get 4 feet of snow, but the authorities are withholding the information so as not to cause a run on gas and grocery items

grampa
Sounds a little paranoid. Even here on the left coast we know how much snow is expected in the East. I don't think any info is being withheld.

stevef
Dam. The 8 feet of snow they're predicting for South Jersey will mean the price of Taylor Ham will go up. All the dam Southerners, like RichCI, will be running out and buying up whatever's available and hoarding it. #-o

grampa
Anyone know what the weather will be like in Miami for the Super Bowl? I would enjoy a good slogging in the mud football game like the old days.
rocketman
Well we're getting nothing in Buffalo. That's right, not even a trace of snow. It's going to slip south of us. Good luck there in MD and other places. I saw that the grocery stores got emptied. I always thought that was funny when I lived down there (I took out my '93 Camaro and used to have the whole beltway to myself). But this time it doesn't look like fun.
