Shnate McDuanus
Holy sh!t that's hilarious! "Banking on my hopes that whoever grades this will just look at the pictures, I drew an exponential through my noise. I believe the apparent legitimacy is enhanced by the fact that I used a complicated computer program to make the fit. I understand this is the same process by which the top quark was discovered." Brilliant.

NeoConMan
Did I write that? I don't remember.... [-(/ I can fully empathize! Good thing I didn't spend much time in academia, especially since I was footing the bill for my own education. (And I ain't talking about loans - I was taking money out of my savings.) flyingarmadillo
That's great! Brought back some (not so) fond memories of the time when I lost my sanity and declared a double major in aeronautical and electrical engineering. It took a year of serious partying to get over the 2 years I spent chasing that insanity.
retrosurfer1959
Not that far from the truth sadly, I felt that way several times in college - got degree's in science and advanced degrees in mathematics - then went to work in CS because it paid so much better than science or math. but it was still fairly witty. pippy
LOLOL!!! This bit I most closely identified with; "Do you see the exponential dependence? I sure don't. I see a bunch of crap. Christ, this was such a waste of my time." Genius!
