RichCI
This be my band. It's a song called "Lazy." I wrote the main riff and the basic song structure, the other dudes wrote their own parts and the lyrics. My guitar is in the left channel (if your speakers aren't wired wrong) and starts out the song. Strat with a boost pedal and a Foxrox Aquavibe. Be kind. http://www.richci.com/lazy.mp3
RichCI
By the way... We had some problems with the mic we used for the lead vocal tracks so that's why it sounds so weird. Home recording and all that... you know...
Artie Owl
I liked it, it almost feels like the song that would open a big summer movie while they introduce the characters or the likes. +1 Being in a band ain't easy, good work.
duane v
I really dig the music and the song title, but I think the vocal line could use a different direction[cool]
RichCI
Yeah... My brother (bass) also sings the lead vocals. It's a bit of a wire we walk with that... He's not a bad singer but he's certainly not great at it. On the plus side, since he's a REALLY talented bass player, singing keeps him from overplaying on bass. RichCI
It's funny but you have no idea how true it is. My favorite way to piss him off (he's my YOUNGER brother }> ) is to say to him, "Can you just ride an E to fill out my tone?"
duane v
Drummers and Bass player are definitely in a world of their own[biggrin]

cookieman15061
Sounds like a cool laid back summer hit single musically. lyrics and vocals need some refinement. Very nice.

Twiz
Cool song man. I like that aquavibe effect on your guitar & the drum sound you got on the recording.

LarryUK
Is the song about my son? The title makes me think so.
saturn
I thought it was great. Yeah, the first vocal verse was a little jarring, but after that I thought the following verses sounded good. I also like the subtle change at the end.
Bldsnn
I like the song. Sounds great, vocals aren't that bad Sounds way better than anything I've ever recorded with my band. (don't really have the right gear to record at home) I used to play with a bass player who actually didn't want to do anything fancy, was kinda strange.. I asked him to do some kind of cool bass solo once He refused... Think he maybe needed to be around other bass players a little more often.. Oh well... Like the song!
