LarryUK
Joe Walsh, Turn to Stone. The smoker you drink lp has the best guitar sounds I've ever heard, His acoustic sound is great as well. Marc Bolan, Get it On. I've based this on sound. Not playing ability. I thought Page's Sound was ok. But his lead sound was weak. A lot of players sound the same. But the Les Paul helps the players style. ie, Imagine Whole lotta Love on a Strat! :-(

twaino
Peter Green and Paul Kossoff my faves too. Also Les Paul, Leslie West's Les Paul Junior, and Jan Akkerman with Gretch pick ups added to his Les Paul Custom. Also the much over looked Danny Kirwan from the early Fleetwood Mac. Danny had a great vibrato, I think many people mistake all the guitar work as Peter's. Their styles were very similar. Has everyone heard the rarer 'Bluesbreakers' instrumental 'Greenie' ? It probably has the quintessential Peter Green hallmark of taste, tone and style.
