Hi Jack! I mean Neo!... texasbumper.jpg

Y'all are alright. I've only been here since Jul 8, 2010, and I feel comfortable. I have 403 posts and have not been banned (been threatened by Milod, but I deserved it... JK, he's a sweet man!). Anywhoo, thanks for putting up with my sillyness and my seriousness.

By the way Milod, you told me it was $100 to get in here, and my debit card says you pulled out 1,000. Or did I hear you wrong?.... ponder.gif

Joaquin

.... Hmmmmm. Musta been some other milod. <chuckle> Darn it. There went my Epi Lucille.

Neo...

There used to be one in South Dakota that read, "You've seen Mount Rushmore, now go home."

Since compared to Texas the area I live in is quite sparsely populated, there are a batch of city folk buying land and/or putting up vacation homes, but only to stay a little while. Winter kinda flamboozles 'em 'cuz it ain't at all like city life or life in warmer climes. I think the Canadian Prairie Provinces have somewhat similar experience to the U.S. Northern Plains along those lines.

No thanks.

Coupla problem neighbors in the area.

And the only neighbors worth a damn will simply turn out the lights and pull the shades if trouble starts.

Help is a long ways off, and not very dependable.

I'll take my chances in the swamp I live in.

Go to a HOA, Town Hall, City Council, or County Commissioner meeting.

Attend a few political events.

Check out a rally or two on any subject you choose.

It's a swamp, and it's smelling worse all the time.

But at least your odds of getting killed are a lot lower in the USA.
